Salute is a mobile application available on iOS and Android, offering personalized fitness and nutrition plans, AI-based coaching, and progress tracking. This Privacy Policy is issued by Salute, operated by TrySalute (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

• Billing and Payment Data: Information required to process subscriptions and payments through third-party providers (e.g., RevenueCat), including email, purchase details, and device identifiers.

Note: Health-related data is considered sensitive under GDPR. We collect it only with your explicit consent.

3. How We Collect Your Data

We collect your personal data through:

• Account creation, authentication and onboarding.
• Data you input into the app (e.g., workouts, nutrition, goals).
• App usage tracking (when analytics is enabled).
• Payment and subscription processing via third-party providers (e.g., RevenueCat), which collect information necessary to manage your subscription.

Third-Party Login:
If you log into the Services via Apple, Google, or any other third-party service, you consent to Salute accessing information that may be publicly available or provided by that service as necessary to create and manage your account. When using Google Sign-In, only necessary technical data (device name, model, platform, OS version, uid, email) are stored on our behalf in Firebase and Firestore to manage your account; no other personal information is collected. By using these sign-in options, you also agree to the terms and privacy policies of the respective third-party service.

Use of Google’s ML-Kit:
Our app uses Google ML Kit (https://developers.google.com/ml-kit) for pose-detection, barcode scanning and segmentation and on-device, which means personal data is not sent to Google servers for analysis. However, Google ML Kit may collect anonymous diagnostics and performance metrics to help improve its services. • All personal data is stored locally on your device, encrypted using SQLite-Cipher.
• We use Firebase and Firestore for account management, abuse prevention and authentication and for this purpose we collect account credentials, Firebase uid, device data, platform, app version and OS..
• We use Google analytics to track app usage in order to improve and personalize our service. App usage tracked are: Events (sign up, workout completed, food logged, etc.) with non-PII parameters. Error Events, User properties: subscription tier, fitness goal, experience level, unit system.
• We use RevenueCat as our third-party payment processor. RevenueCat may receive certain personal data necessary to process your subscription, including your email, purchase details, and device identifiers. RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf and is GDPR-compliant. We do not share additional personal data with RevenueCat beyond what is required for payment processing.

7. International Data Transfers

If we transfer any data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) in the future, we will ensure appropriate safeguards such as:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
• Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
• Use of GDPR-compliant service providers
