Salute is a mobile application available on iOS and Android, offering personalized fitness and nutrition plans, AI-based coaching, and progress tracking. This Privacy Policy is issued by Salute, operated by TrySalute (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

We may collect the following types of personal data:

• Identity Information: Full name, email address.
• Demographic Data: Age, gender.
• Health and Fitness Data: Weight, height, fitness goals, nutrition preferences, allergies, logged workouts, progress stats.
• Technical Data: Device data (OS version, model, platform), app version, Firebase UID, email, password and authentication information, cookies, country and app usage statistics (if analytics is enabled).
• Billing and Payment Data: Information required to process subscriptions and payments through third-party providers (e.g., RevenueCat), including email, purchase details, and device identifiers.

Note: Health-related data is considered sensitive under GDPR. We collect it only with your explicit consent.

We collect your personal data through:

• Account creation, authentication and onboarding.
• Data you input into the app (e.g., workouts, nutrition, goals).
• App usage tracking (when analytics is enabled).
• Payment and subscription processing via third-party providers (e.g., RevenueCat), which collect information necessary to manage your subscription.

Third-Party Login:
If you log into the Services via Apple, Google, or any other third-party service, you consent to Salute accessing information that may be publicly available or provided by that service as necessary to create and manage your account. When using Google Sign-In, only necessary technical data (device name, model, platform, OS version, uid, email) are stored on our behalf in Firebase and Firestore to manage your account; no other personal information is collected. By using these sign-in options, you also agree to the terms and privacy policies of the respective third-party service.

Camera Usage and Biometric Data:
Our app may request access to your device’s camera to enable features such as exercise form analysis (“Form Check”) and optional body composition estimation. We do not collect, store or share any face data or biometric identifiers. Any visual input is processed locally on-device and is not used to identify individuals. All camera input is processed locally on your device in real time and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
We do not use facial recognition technology, and we do not extract or store facial features. Any images or videos are only stored on your device if you explicitly choose to save them. Otherwise, all visual data is immediately discarded after processing.

We may use your email address to send:

• App updates and new features.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

• Some personal data is stored locally on your device (encrypted using SQLite-Cipher). Additional account and authentication data is securely stored using Firebase and Firestore.
• We use Firebase and Firestore for account management, abuse prevention and authentication and for this purpose we collect account credentials, Firebase uid, device data, platform, app version and OS.
• We use Google analytics to track app usage in order to improve and personalize our service. App usage tracked are: Events (sign up, workout completed, food logged, etc.) with non-PII parameters. Error Events, User properties: subscription tier, fitness goal, experience level, unit system.
• We use RevenueCat as our third-party payment processor. RevenueCat may receive certain personal data necessary to process your subscription, including your email, purchase details, and device identifiers. RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf and is GDPR-compliant. We do not share additional personal data with RevenueCat beyond what is required for payment processing.

Use of Third-Party Technologies

• Our app uses Google ML Kit (https://developers.google.com/ml-kit) for pose-detection, barcode scanning and segmentation on-device, which means personal data is not sent to Google servers for analysis. However, Google may collect limited, non-personal diagnostic and performance data in accordance with its own privacy policy. This data does not include camera data, images, or biometric identifiers. • We do not retain nor share any camera or face-related data. Any processing occurs in real time and is not stored unless the user explicitly saves media locally on their device.

If we transfer any data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) in the future, we will ensure appropriate safeguards such as:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
• Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
• Use of GDPR-compliant service providers

We are committed to protecting your data using a combination of technical and organizational safeguards.

We do not retain any camera or face-related data. All such data is processed in real time and discarded immediately unless the user explicitly chooses to save media locally on their device.
